The Village Files

From 1940 onwards, in preparation for the 1948 ethnic cleansing, the intelligence servie of the Hagana collected detailed information on every village in Palestine. This enabled the leadership to know the wealth of the villages, its internal social and economc prolbesm, the members who were political active and other strategic information that would make it easy to occupy and loot the village in the future. Arab League Pamphlet

The Israeli narrative depicted the Arab governments as seeking to inflict a second holocaust on the Jewish people. This pamphlet tells a different story that tallies with the research that exposed secret efforts by Arab leaders to try and convince the UN and even Zionist leaders to continue negotiating over the future of Palestine and not impose a solution on the Palestinians.
